Engage includes the full functionality of a fixed-base point-of-sale (POS) system with an easy-to-use interface and integration with in-store databases. By extending POS beyond the fixed-base register, Starmount Engage improves personalized service and enables store associates to easily capture customer data, tender transactions anywhere on the store floor, reduce long lines, accelerate checkout, and more easily up-sell at the point-of-decision. 

The Starmount Engage mobile selling solution is a native iOS application running on an Apple® iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, or Andriod device. The device sits within a sled that provides an integrated barcode scanner and magstripe reader. The client front end communicates with an application running on the store’s server and fully integrated with the retailer’s store and POS system(s).
